Hello! I’m David, the Director of Programs here at The Dome. I’m the one who creates and runs all of our camps! I was born and raised here in Alaska, and earned my bachelor’s degree in physical education while competing as a track & field athlete at UAA. My goal is to create an environment of health, safety, and lots of fun! I oversee all programs at The Dome, including our hugely popular NFL Flag Football program which brings in hundreds of kids each season. Here’s a tip from me: sign up now, because our camps always fill up!
I’m Shianne! I’ve lived in Anchorage my entire life. I spend most of my time at the gym or outside, hiking and camping with my dogs and just going on walks. I love being part of a camp that helps kids be themselves, have fun, and experience new things - all while staying active. I’m looking forward to seeing you all!
Hi! I’m Kyra, and I am a former Dimond student now in my sophomore year of college in Arizona. I love sports and staying active, and I especially love passing my enthusiasm on to our campers! One of my favorite parts of camps at The Dome is that we do creative arts & crafts time every day. I can't wait to see you back at camp!
Hi there, My name is Sage. I’ve lived in Alaska my entire life and am currently attending UAA. I spend most of my time outdoors, whether playing soccer, camping, fishing, snowboarding, or playing hockey. Before joining The Dome in 2018, I’ve worked with Cook Inlet Soccer Club coaching youth soccer as well as with the Anchorage YMCA doing before and after school care for elementary school children. I can’t wait for camp!
Howdy, my name is Madeline! I am in my final year at the University of Alaska Anchorage and will be graduating in December with a degree in justice and a minor in sociology! I was born and raised in Alaska and have lived in Anchorage, Girdwood, and Valdez. I love to ski, play hockey and soccer with friends, hike with my dogs, bike, and play disc golf! Camp is one of my favorite parts of working at The Dome!
Hi, I’m Nolan! I’ve lived in Alaska most of my life and I’m a recent graduate of the UAF Fire Science program. I love hiking, biking, swimming, and anything outdoors. I love being part of The Dome and am really pumped for camp!
Hello, I’m Nick! I was born in Anchorage and have lived here all my life. I’m a UAA student working toward a teaching job. I’ve had 4 years of professional child care experience, plus a lifetime of being the oldest in my family, so managing kids is a cinch. I can’t wait to see you all at camp!
Hello, I’m Stephanie! I grew up in Soldotna in a big family with five siblings. I’ve been with The Dome since we reopened. Soccer and softball are my main sports, but I also love just being outside and playing. This is going to be a great camp - I can’t wait to see all my kiddos from last year and meet all my new ones!
Hi! My name is Talha and I’m a freshman at UAA. I love spending time outdoors whether it’s hiking, playing soccer, or snowmachining. I’ve lived in Anchorage for more than 10 years now and I’m really looking forward to seeing you for another awesome camp at The Dome!
