Providing knowingly false information in connection with an incident report (including one with allegations of sexual harassment) is misconduct and may result in disciplinary action by The Dome. Reporting & Investigation Policy Anchorage Sportsplex, Inc. (“The Dome”) prohibits and does not tolerate misconduct, including but not limited to behavior that is demeaning, threatening, hostile, intimidating, discriminatory or harassing. Individuals who believe they are being subjected to conduct in violation of this policy are encouraged to promptly advise the offender that the behavior is unwelcomed and request that it stop. Ideally, this action alone will resolve the problem. The Dome also encourages prompt reporting of complaints or concerns that may require action by The Dome to resolve. Any persons reasonably suspected or believed to have committed misconduct may be subject to appropriate remedial action, up to and including termination of employment, membership, access, as well as criminally prosecuted. No employee, customer, coach, volunteer, board member, or other person, regardless of their title or position, has any authority to commit, enable, or allow any prohibited acts. The Dome will review allegations of misconduct, and may seek additional information to assist its review. The Dome will also report to law enforcement, if appropriate. Anti-Retaliation The Dome prohibits retaliation made against any customer, employee, volunteer, board member, or other person who lodges a good-faith complaint of misconduct or who participates in any related investigation. Bad Faith and Knowingly False Allegations The Dome recognizes that intentionally false and malicious allegations can have serious consequences for those involved, and it will not tolerate abuse of its complaint reporting procedure. The Dome prohibits knowingly false or malicious misconduct allegations, as well as knowingly or deliberately providing false information during an investigation. Anyone who violates this rule is subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment, membership, access, and/or criminal prosecution.
